Amber and Ashley Describe the Life Leadership Conference They Attended

Amber Peabody and Ashley Wixon, soon-to-be seniors at Benzie Central High School, described their experience as attendees at Rotary District 6290's Life Leadership Conference in Tustin.
Amber Peabody is a member of National Honor Society, as well as being part of Benzie Central's renowned cross-country team. Ashley Wilcox, who also belongs to the National Honor Society, is in the the orchestra band and participates in FFA and 4-H among other activities. Both recently attended Rotary's Life Leadership Conference in Tustin on a scholarship provided by Benzie Sunrise Rotary. They gave a PowerPoint presentation outlining what they learned at the conference. Both described meeting other participants--including foreign exchange students--as highlights of their time spent in Tustin.
Members agreed that if these two girls are any indication, there is great hope for our future!
