The Benzie Conservation District and the Invasive Species Network

When Tad came to the Conservation District, it was in dire financial straits. That changed in 2010 with the passage of a millage. Now the District is able to sponsor a number of popular programs, including the Betsie River Clean Sweep, "Nuts for Nature," stream monitoring and water tours.

 

Those interested in supporting these programs should note that the millage is up for renewal on August 5th. (Click on picture for a larger view.)
