This week we received an update on Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital from COO Kristi Johnson. Kristi was introduced by James Barker, President of Munson's Southern Regional Hospitals.

Kristi reviewed the many medical areas in which Paul Oliver is involved. As a Level IV Designated Trauma Facility, Paul Oliver has received the Guardians of Excellence Award, most recently for 2020.

Paul Oliver also has an Acute Care Unit. Among other things it provides access to the Frankfort Medical Group.

The hospital also provides Primary Care through both the Frankfort Medical Group and Empire Family Care.  Both groups are accepting new patients.

Paul Oliver also offers IV Therapy.  This includes the providing of blood transfusions, injections and IV fluids.

The hospital also has a five-star 29-bed Long-Term Care and Skilled Rehab facility.  Paul Oliver also offers Sports Medicine and Rehab Services at Frankfort, Benzonia, Interlochen and Empire.

Service through Paul Oliver's Specialty Clinics has been suspended during the pandemic, but the hospital hope to reopen the clinics on November 9th.  COVID-19 disrupted operations at all medical facilities, but care is coming back to the health care community.
