On September 8, 2026 we were entertained and educated by Paul Clulo and his beautiful collection of trumpets.
Paul Clulo has been playing the trumpet for many years. He gave us a verbal and audio history of the instrument. Paul's experience includes playing with the 4 Lads and symphony orchestras. He is currently a member of the Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra. You can hear Paul and the rest of the symphony on September 27 at Interlochen/Corson Auditorium. At todays presentation Paul explained the different sounds and uses for the different trumpets in his collection. He sampled everything from college fight songs, classical arrangements, Sousa and some cool jazz.
