Hailing from Chattanooga, Phil Lambert has been coming to the shores of Crystal Lake for many years.

Before pursuing a 36-year career in education Phil did many things like working on a milk truck, on a farm and at a gas station. When he became a teacher, it was first as a chemistry and physical science teacher in high school and then in middle school ("hormone city").

In addition to teaching Phil coached football, basketball and track for more than fifteen years. He also has been a substitute teacher and an interim Assistant Principal. He has stepped up and performed the Heimlich maneuver twice. His three-fold watchwords--be calm, be patient and help others--should fit in perfectly with Service Above Self.
