Jon Willow was named the Executive Director of the Benzie Area Chamber of Commerce in January 2026.
As the new Executive Director Jon is working on a Strategic Planning Initiative for the area and is developing a 3-year plan. Key metrics are being developed for measurement throughout the 3-year plan to determine success. She is also working closely with the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce to build synergy in the county regarding these initiatives.
Jon’s goals include, but are not limited to:
- Attracting and supporting the Benzie Area Business Community
- Improve social and economic growth in the Benzie area
- As a member of the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance Jon is engaged in growing business for the entire region.
- Meeting with state legislators to meet these endeavors
- Work to strengthen relations with key stakeholders enhance business and government connections for business growth.
Prior to taking on this new position, Jon has been instrumental in expanding broadband services as a key leader in the Community Broadband Action Network initiative in 38 states and four countries.
