Club's 1st Annual Golf Outing Exceeds Expectations

By all measures the Club's 1st Annual Golf Outing at Crystal Lake Golf Club was a huge success.
On June 26 Benzie Sunrise Rotary sponsored a new event, its First Annual Golf Outing. Featuring a modified Ryder Cup format with two-person teams and flawless weather, the event filled the Crystal Lake Golf Club to capacity. Generous donors sponsored holes and provided prizes for the golfers. Among the prizes highly coveted by the golfers were free rounds of golf at Arcadia Bluffs and the Grand Traverse Resort. The event netted more than $7,500--not bad for an inaugural event! Plans are already under way for a repeat performance next year.
