Each year the club works with the Ferris State University admissions department to coordinate a visit for 11th grade students to not only see the campus, but to also experience a program area of interest.

The purpose of this program is to have 11th grade students see college as an achievable goal by giving them the opportunity to see various career/degree programs and speaking with alumni from their school who made a successful transition, learning what they did (or wished they had done) that impacted their success.  Prior to the trip, the club’s coordinator works with the 11th grade English teacher, speaking in her classes about the upcoming trip and reason for it.  The English teacher has students do a reflection paper the day following the trip and conducts follow-up activities during the school year to support students’ career & college preparation.
