What's Ahead for Benzie Sunrise Rotary

New President Kris Thomas gives her vision of the new Rotary year.
A primary goal is to make Sunrise Rotary the "Club of choice" in Benzie County. Other goals include building our membership and continuing to pursue our partnership with the Benzie Central Schools. Kris intends to work in "Rotary moments" from time to time and to produce a short Rotary weekly.
On the organizational side Kris reviewed Club committees for the year--including Fundraising & Giving, Service, Administrative, Membership, Public Relations and International--and their chairs. A budget / financial plan is in the works and will be circulated.
Kris outlined the four parts of her Strategic Plan and brought us up-to-date on some of the changes underway on the District and International level. She discussed EREY ("Every Rotarian Every Year") and said that her goal is to make our club an EREY Club. Finally she talked about how members can donate to the RI Foundation Annual Fund.
