The Prosecutor Has a Representative on the Recovery Court Team

Underscoring the importance of the Recovery Court, Chief Assistant Prosecutor Michelle Steffen said that the vast majority of crime involves drug abuse.
While rehabilitation of offenders is just one of the aims of law enforcement, elimination of drug abuse would greatly reduce criminal behavior and save taxpayer dollars. The Recovery Team's program includes testing, monitoring, counseling and providing rewards and sanctions.
