President-Elect Kris Thomas Reports on PETS Training

While PETS Training is mandatory for those about to become Club Presidents, Kris found it anything but boring. She learned much more about Rotary International and found the experience nothing short of inspirational.
Kris shared several videos from the weekend, including two dealing with Polio Plus, one with footage of Bill Gates talking about his foundation's participation in the project and the other one entitled "We Are This Close" (to wiping out polio worldwide).
Kris concluded with a heartwarming video entitled "Why Am I a Rotarian," with a subtitle/answer: "To save the world . . . one child at a time." A perfect program to inspire our new members, as well as the rest of us.
