Elohim School Update

The Elohim School is has been supported by our club for a number of years.  Dr. Pepper shared that this year the first class will be graduating from the school.  He also shared how the school is providing vocational training to assist them in a successful transition into the work force.  Some of the vocational programs offered are using an electric sewing machine, Beauty Salon Training, Training to be an Electrician and carpentry.

 

Dr. Pepper also shared that the hospital in Arequipa had recently opened a new burn unit which is the premier facility in the country.  Patients are coming to the new burn unit from the all across Peru and benefiting from the state of the art facility.
