Sally Jo Messersmith, Assistant Director of Resale 4 Recovery, told us about this non-profit in Benzonia.
Resale 4 Recovery operates a resale shop near the Roadhouse in Benzonia. The store is run by people with disabilities, and the organization's goal is to allow people to manage their mental well-being in a safe atmosphere.
The shop offers all sorts of items for resale, including clothes, household goods, furniture, books, crafts, antiques, etc. The group received a hearty endorsement from our own Sonny Rodriguez, familiar with the operation through his involvement with Special Olympics.
