Baseball in the Frontier League

Media Director and Team Announcer Chad Cooper described the professional ball players in the Frontier League.
The Frontier League is an independent league that is intended for young players on the way up. There is a maximum player age of 27 and a player's salary cap of $1,600 a month. During the season players stay with host families with whom they often get very close. Many of the players in the league end up in organized baseball, some in the majors.
